Kylie Finishes College
As one might discern from the atypical graduation date, Kylie has chosen to pursue her music career full-time in lieu of academics. She would like to extend her heart-felt gratitude to Cary Banks and the staff of South Plains College in Levelland, Texas. South Plains College is an extraordinary junior college with a wholesome and encouraging environment, as well as a wonderful commercial music program. Unfortunately, Kylie's high school struggle to attend classes continued into her college career, affecting every non-performance class. While Kylie's grades were on the down-turn, her musical opportunities had begun to escalate to the point where a decison had to be made...and she and the folks at South Plains all agreed that this decision was an easy one! So...look out World! Kylie Harris is back on the stages and better than ever!

CD Work Begins!
After being home from school for a very short amount of time, Kylie has had opportunities to tour with Zane Williams, sing harmonies with Larry Joe Taylor and Josh Abbott, as well as doing her own performances, which have garnered industry attention from musicians like Tracy Biyrd, Davin James, Moe Robson, Jerry Audley, and many more. KHYI, The Ranch, and out-of-town radio stations have begun asking for material to play, and top musicians have pledged their services. Kylie's brother, Jesse Cowan, graduated from South Plains College as the top Live Sound Production engineer and received his ProTools certification, so he has been retained to engineer his sister's first CD! Simultaeneously, Radney Foster gave the "OK" to use Kylie's immense harmony talents on Zane Williams' upcoming CD, so she'll have to sneak away from her own CD production to spend a couple days in Nashville! This young lady is working 'round the clock on one of the most important ventures of her life and what promises to be a prolific body of work!

Kylie at Radney Foster's Studio in Nashville
Kylie took a short break from recording her own CD to journey to Nashville, Tennessee, where she recorded harmony vocals for Zane Williams' upcoming CD in Radney Foster's studio. Fittingly, it was singing along to Foster's CDs on family roadtrips that 12-year-old Kylie honed her fabulous gift of harmony, so it was a true honor and thrill to work with her idol, and especially encouraging when he "sang her praises" after the sessions.
Kylie is very excited about Zane Williams' upcoming CD, which should be released in September. Kylie's highly anticipated CD, "All the Right Reasons" is also scheduled for a September release.
